Below are the detailed steps for replacing the HMI on your inverter:

  1. Power Down:

    • Turn off the AC and DC power to the inverter.
  2. Open the Inverter:

    • Unscrew all T25 screws on the cover.
    • Slowly open the cover to access the interior components.
  3. Document the Setup:

    • We recommend taking a photo of the current setup, especially how the communication wires and ribbon cables are connected to the existing HMI. This will serve as a reference for reassembly.
  4. Remove the Old HMI:

    • Unplug all communication wires and ribbon cables from the HMI.
    • Unscrew the four screws securing the old HMI and remove it.
  5. Install the New HMI:

    • Position the new HMI in place and tighten the four screws.
    • Reconnect all communication wires and ribbon cables, using your photo as a guide.
