Below are the detailed steps for replacing the HMI on your inverter:
Power Down:
- Turn off the AC and DC power to the inverter.
Open the Inverter:
- Unscrew all T25 screws on the cover.
- Slowly open the cover to access the interior components.
Document the Setup:
- We recommend taking a photo of the current setup, especially how the communication wires and ribbon cables are connected to the existing HMI. This will serve as a reference for reassembly.
Remove the Old HMI:
- Unplug all communication wires and ribbon cables from the HMI.
- Unscrew the four screws securing the old HMI and remove it.
Install the New HMI:
- Position the new HMI in place and tighten the four screws.
- Reconnect all communication wires and ribbon cables, using your photo as a guide.
