Solis Data Useage

Solis cellular data loggers come with either a 1-year plan, 5-year plan, or 10-year plan. The plan expiration is actually not based on time lapsed since first reporting to SolisCloud. The amount of time is based on the data usage for one inverter for whole year. If multiple inverters are daisy chained to a single logger, the data is shared amongst the inverters. This means, the plan will expire more quickly since the data is being used at a faster rate. 


The chart below shows how much data each Solis inverter type uses per month based on the number of inverters connected to a single cellular data logger.


The 5-year plan consists of 300MB (5MB x 12 months x 5 years = 300MB total)

The 10-year plan consists of 600MB (5MB x 12 months x 10 years = 600MB total)
