Steps to enroll in a VPP program with a Solis inverter:
1. First, the system must be installed in an area where there is an active VPP program
2. Install the system and connect it to the internet using a Solis logger
3. Go to the VPP program enrollment page
4. Create a new account and then follow the steps for enrolling in the program
5. If the program does not have an enrollment page, please use the correct link in the chart below.
When a Solis energy storage system becomes enrolled in the VPP program, the utility gains some control over that system. For example, it may command the battery to discharge and export power to the grid for an hour. The utility pays the homeowner and the aggregator for every event that the storage system participates in. Typically, the owner of the system is allowed to “opt in” or “opt out” of each event. They are only paid for the events that they opt into.
