Required Tools and Materials:
- Phillips screwdriver #2
- T20 screwdriver
- 10mm socket wrench
- Electrical tape
Steps:
- First, verify that the inverter is powered off - both the DC switch and the AC breaker must be open (off)
- Once the inverter wire box cover is off, use a 10mm socket to remove the four nuts securing the AC cover plate and then remove the plate itself
- Using a T20 screwdriver, remove the fastener labeled "RSD" and then tape the end of the wire with electrical tape so the wire doesn't come into contact with anything in the wire box
- Reinstall the AC cover plate and then the inverter can be turned back on
