Tigo and Solis have been strong partners for many years in several markets around the world, including the countries of North America.
Solis inverters being sold in North America can come with either an integrated Rapid Shutdown System (RSS) transmitter or an integrated Cloud Connect Advanced (CCA) but not both at the same time.
A Solis inverter part number with "-RSS" will include an integrated Tigo RSS transmitter. A Solis inverter part number with "-CCA" will include an integrated Tigo CCA. It is not possible to get both Tigo RSS and CCA in the same inverter, it must be one or the other.
It is very important when designing a PV system to be aware of which type of Tigo products are to be used. The Tigo TS4-A-F and TS4-A-2F rapid shutdown receivers only work with the Rapid Shutdown System (RSS) transmitter. They DO NOT work with the Tigo Cloud Connect Advanced (CCA). Conversely, the Tigo TS4-A-O optimizers are only supported by the Tigo Cloud Connect Advanced (CCA) and Tigo Access Point (TAP).
The Tigo CCA does not support TS4-A-F and TS4-A-2F just as the Tigo RSS transmitter does not support the TS4-A-O. It is crucial that this point be understood before purchasing equipment from either Tigo or Solis. Solis does not allow the integrated CCA to be swapped out for the RSS transmitter or the RSS transmitter to be swapped out for the CCA. Doing so will void the product warranties.
